EMERGENCY PICK-UP PROCEDURES

Crescenta Valley High School

In the event of a campuswide emergency, procedures are in place to ensure the safety of students and staff.

If the severity of the situation requires an evacuation of the campus, all classes will move with their teachers to assigned locations on the football field/track.

REUNION GATE

Lot A (the parking lot south of the main gym on Ramsdell Avenue) serves as the pick up location for parents and designated emergency contacts.  School staff at this location will help locate your student and facilitate a safe reunion for staff members.  USE ONLY THIS LOCATION TO PICK UP YOUR STUDENT.

Remain calm.  Comply with staff instructions.  Do not use the phone unless human life is in imminent danger.

Use local radio and television or the GUSD website (www.gusd.net) to access up-to-date emergency instructions.
